It was just a couple of days ago that this woman's husband heartbreakingly admitted that he settled for her after spending over 13 years together, and she can't get his words out of her head.
In fact, she thinks things make more sense now, despite her world being turned upside down. They have had countless conversations where she figured that certain comments her husband has made to her were just mean jokes, but it turns out he was being truthful.
She didn't grow up with a loving family, and she never pictured she would find a man who truly cherished or valued her because of that.
"I was just searching for someone to love me. It was foreign to me, but I knew I liked the way he made me feel. We spent a few winter holidays together, and then [the] next thing I knew, we were getting married," she explained.
"We didn’t just jump, we leaped! Now, looking back, there were so many signs, but I clung to the times when it was just him and me, and he showed me what I thought was love."
"We have children together, and just now, I was scrolling TikTok and a video came up with a guy finding out they’re having a baby and him 'joking' about him having an out. My husband had that reaction both times. That’s what brought me to do this."
They spent a couple of days in a row fighting over how she feels he's not affectionate with her. Her husband argued back that he has changed enough for her and shouldn't have to anymore.
She reminded her husband that this was the same argument they have kept slipping back into, and she really just wants to be with him and feel like he loves her.
Her husband yelled that he settled in being with her before she could finish her sentence!

She was so shocked, especially because she's spent her whole life feeling like she is not good enough. So hearing her husband confess what he did just reaffirmed her worst fears.
She freaked out and began taking all of the quotes about love and family they have hanging around their house off the walls. Her husband stayed silent for 20 minutes, and after she announced that she was going to bed, he started yelling at her that they should break her wall art because it was meaningless.
He did end up smashing two pieces, one of which was still on the wall and had their last name on it.
"I just stared in disbelief. I know I was wrong [for] starting to take everything off the wall, but I really was doing it quietly, trying to process what he just told me," she added.
"I looked like Rain Man walking around, looking at everything in disbelief. We have never fought in front of our kids, so I was worried we would wake them. Because I didn’t react, he calmed down pretty fast and just sat there."
"I told him I don’t know how this is going to work because I can’t unhear what he just told me. He lay down and fell asleep while I was still talking, like he was dismissing me."
She couldn't sleep that night because she was so mad. The following morning, she got the kids ready to head off to school, and her daughter actually cried as she asked if something was wrong with her husband, since she saw the broken art all over the floor.
Her daughter couldn't quit crying, even after she reassured her that everything was fine. The next day, she and her husband got into another fight, so she went to sleep early, around 6 p.m.
Her daughter ended up telling her later on that they went to bed hungry, as her husband didn't feed them dinner. Her husband has since left for the rest of the week on a work trip, so she does have some time to consider her options.
Her husband acts like such a charming man that nobody would believe her if she told them that he actually doesn't like her at all. He presents as a wonderful person who appreciates his family and his kids. He's an excellent provider.
She's left wondering what she should do.
This is heartbreaking, and her husband isn't the one if he confessed to something so cruel. She needs to spend the next week reflecting in peace and examining her marriage based on how her husband has acted all along, not based on the face he puts on for everyone else to see.
And the major question she has to answer is: Is this marriage good enough for her? Not: Is she good enough for her husband?
What advice do you have for her?
