On September 6, 2025, TikToker Olivia (@olivia15sailor) found out her husband was having an affair. Over the past year, she has learned to heal from the hurt, and he is now her ex-husband.
She can remember that day like it was yesterday. There had been a huge thunderstorm all night, and she was wide awake at one in the morning. Suddenly, her husband received a phone call.
"And I knew exactly what was happening," said Olivia. "Of course, I was angry, sad, confused, and very hormonal because I was only three months postpartum."
She interrogated him for a couple of minutes about the phone call before kicking him out of the bedroom. Then, she immediately called her mother and told her everything. The phone call with her mom lasted more than five hours, and she did not sleep for the next 46 hours.
She texted a friend at 5:00 a.m. for comfort and had another friend come over at 7:00 a.m. All the marriage trauma that she had hidden for years came pouring out of her.
"At that point, we have been married four days shy of three years, and I had not told anyone in my circle, not my family, friends, or even my therapist, about anything that was actually going on in my marriage," said Olivia.
Soon after finding out about the affair, she started doing some investigative work to figure out who the mistress was. At the 36-hour mark, she discovered a pill bottle in the bathroom. It was the other woman's prescription.
Olivia knew exactly who she was and left it at that. Weeks later, she finally summoned up the courage and curiosity to look her up on social media. She didn't see anything on Instagram, but her Facebook was a gold mine of information.
"On my Facebook block list, there were four random women...and her husband!!!" exclaimed Olivia. "And finding those people blocked on my Facebook was absolutely horrific. He did block women on my social media, but come to find out, the only social media she had was Pinterest."

Her husband's mistress ended up reaching out to her through Pinterest. Olivia's husband was also on her Facebook account a lot because he didn't have one of his own, and Olivia didn't care because she had nothing to hide.
Olivia then called a divorce attorney, and that was the best decision she had ever made. She is now advising women to check their block lists on social media. Prescription pill bottles that don't belong to you are also another obvious tell.
In the comments section, several TikTok users shared similar instances where they had either been blocked or reached out to women through unlikely platforms.
"I found out a friend's friend was sleeping with a married man, and I sent his wife a 'hey girly' message through her Etsy shop," commented one user.
"I always think about the woman whose fiancé blocked me from her Instagram when I figured out he was engaged and trying to cheat," wrote another.
"My mom is still with a man who blocked his whole family on her Facebook," stated a third.
