When you find out your long-term partner is a married fraud with a pregnant wife, how do you tell the truth without becoming collateral damage in the process?
This 25-year-old girl has spent the last two years in a physical relationship with a 39-year-old man, and they originally met on a dating website.
He told her that he was not married and had no kids. She still questioned him multiple times about this narrative, as he’s handsome and successful. He has consistently stuck to his story.
“I have always come over to his house every time, and at first it was pretty transactional throughout the first year. He would take care of me financially when I needed him to, and we’d have a [physical] relationship,” she explained.
“By the end of the first year, he told me he wanted it to be less transactional so we’d text more. He’d call me when I wasn’t free. Wanted more-so innocent pictures of me. Wanted me to go on work trips with him.”
“It wasn’t until I came over at the beginning of this year [that] he wanted me to roleplay, which was something we previously had done. The roleplay, without being too obvious, implied I was someone who came over to do a job that was purely innocent. This particular time, however, he told me that he had family over, so we’d have to be sneaky about it.”
His whole attitude was off, and he seemed anxious and darker to her. He’s normally calm and positive, so she wasn’t sure what to make of it.
The whole situation was so bizarre to her, and it inspired her to go sleuthing on the internet to see what she could find. She didn’t turn up with anything, so she kept on seeing this man.
Recently, when she came to visit him, he asked her to wait to come to his front door until after his family member had gotten there, and he instructed her to pretend to be a service worker.
When she got to his house, she saw an absolutely beautiful older woman, and she didn’t think that he was related to her at all.
“After [an] hours-long, extensive internet search, I now know this woman was his wife, actually, and she’s actually pregnant with her first child, and she’s actually far enough along that I’m hesitant to know when the right time is to tell her,” she added.
“I wish I saw her pregnancy post sooner because I would’ve acted sooner. Not only that, but now I know that this guy also did his own deep dive on me recently, so now he knows everything about me and thinks I know nothing about him. ”
“I 100% am going to tell her I just don’t know when anymore because what he’s been doing is so evil and diabolical and I regret ever being a part of this unknowingly. I’d hate to relay this information to a woman who is, for one, pregnant and, two, to find out this was happening in her safe space.”
Oh, and she also uncovered while conducting the internet search that he lied to her about his job and his name.
She’s left wondering what to do.
Well, there’s no good time to alert someone to the fact that their spouse is cheating. She needs to immediately tell this guy’s wife and send evidence along with an anonymous message. She didn’t do anything wrong, though, because she had no idea he was married.
