Her Cousin’s Husband Is An Absolute Creep And She Finally Exposed Him For What He Is To Everyone

A 22-year-old girl attended her cousin’s wedding last summer, and that was the very first time that she got to meet her cousin’s new husband.
Her cousin doesn’t live close to where she is, so, she really doesn’t get to spend a lot of time with her as it is.
At her cousin’s wedding, she immediately felt that her cousin’s husband was not a good guy at all.
“I instantly got a bad vibe from him, and he made several comments that rubbed me the wrong way,” she explained.
“He told me I seemed like a “wild child” and said he would bet I’m a “bad girl” at my college. Since meeting him, he has followed me on Instagram and sporadically sends me reels (which I don’t open) and comments odd things on my posts like “looking good cousin.”
“He even DM’d me once, “Hey, I’ll be in your state this weekend on business…lol” which I never opened either.”
Her worst fears were confirmed; her cousin’s husband was clearly an absolute creep. While all of this was going on, she didn’t think it was her place to fill her cousin in, and she has a couple of reasons behind that.
First of all, she isn’t entirely close to her cousin, which is why she didn’t want to speak up, and secondly, her cousin really does act all holier-than-thou.
Well, several days ago, she found out that someone had created a fake account of her on social media, claiming to send steamy photos in exchange for money.

Clearly, she had not made the account, and all of her friends reported it to get taken down.
“Of course, the 1 person who apparently fell for it was my cousin’s husband,” she said. “I then got a very long, nasty DM from my cousin telling me she had been very tolerant of my sinful lifestyle (whatever that means), but this time I had gone too far.”
“She said she didn’t care that we were family and so long as I was posing a threat to her marriage I was no longer welcome in their lives.”
She was astounded that her cousin thought she was behind this very fake account, and she told her that in the nicest way possible.
She even said sorry to her cousin, even though she didn’t owe her an apology for anything.
Her cousin shot back that she thought she was a liar and that she feels bad for her having no self-respect.
“I lost it at this point,” she continued. “I called her stupid for falling for an account that was so obviously fake and said that her husband was such a blatant creep it was embarrassing she even married him.”
“I sent screenshots of the months of DM’s from him that I never responded to and concluded by saying, “if your marriage is so easily threatened, get a divorce. Don’t take your insecurities out on me.”
Right after she did that, her grandma and mom phoned her up to yell at her. Her cousin took her screenshots and sent them to their entire family.
Her family thinks that she handled her cousin in a “cruel and unjustified” manner since her cousin just made a mistake and feels embarrassed.
Her mom is also accusing her of destroying their family over the screenshots.
She’s not sure how what she said to her cousin is being taken as going too far, but she’s wondering anyway if she shouldn’t have sent the screenshots.
